You start your criminal life at the bottom of the ladder.  The only way you are going to start earning respect on the streets is by committing crimes. Any crime under the Criminal Acts menu will help you to achieve this. Commiting crimes will put you in jail a lot at first, but as you gain experience you will soon be on the path to success. Once you have a little income and some criminal skills it is time to train yourself up for the streets.  Visit the Boxing Club, go to Work or head over to Marksmanship to increase your skills  to increase your skills. Find a Family to take you in and train you up.  The protection they will offer you will help you greatly to stay alive. Take charge of businesses and Casino assests to make your fortune as well as provide vital services for your family.

You will find that your best survival instinct is strength. Strength can be obtained by purchasing weapons from the shop located in Germany. Stop by often and stock up. Strength is the main measurable factor in the game and is the only factor that is going to gain you respect on the streets.

As well as weapons you can workout at the gym every 12 hours or visit the boxing club to gain strength and some boxing skill. Challenge other players to a boxing match to show off your manual handling skills.

Your attack strength is, as the name implies, important for attacking other players. Your defense strength plays a role in defending against attacks from other players. There is a variety of weapons to choose from to suit every mafioso's budget.

You can travel all over the world within the game.  If you want to broaden your mind, then simply step on the plane at the airport and take a flight. Each Country has a special feature which is only accessible in that location.

Please note there is a chance of your plane crashing although rare it is not unherd of. If your plane crashes you will lose between 30 - 70% Health. If your health falls to 0% for any reason  you will die.

There are numerous assests within the game that are player run. These provide income to the owners and also allow other players to use them. These assests are located in all countries. You need to be a shoplifter or higher to own one.

Warning: A Player is  limited to 8 objects. You can own any objects you wish. Remember if you are killed your objects are lost.

Aswell as the player run assests mentioned above there are also other game features for you to have a go at, some have risk, some have no risk. These are:

Crack The Safe	In 'crack the safe' there are 4 possible codes. One of them gives you access to the contents of the safe. You can try to crack the safe by choosing a code. Each attempt to crack the safe costs 75 credits! If you crack the safe? You win £100,000, 150 credits, 1500 extra defensive strength and 1500 extra attacking strength.
	Buy some tickets for the weekly lottery, If you win, you will recieve the jackpot amount in cash, which is made up of 2mil + ticket sales divided between 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
	Spin the reels and see if you hit the jackpot.  This can be played with cash or credits. You can win a fortune or lose the lot dont get to addicted.
	Take a free spin on the Wheel Of Fortune and win a prize ranging from cash, credits, attack points, defence points and bullets, or you could win nothing. The Wheel Of Fortune is a VIP only feature but is free to spin once every 60 minutes.
	A nice simple of game of odds as well as a bit of luck. In this game, you have to guess whether the next number will be higher or lower than the number currently on the screen. If correct You make it to the next round. The further you get, the more you win! Numbers are between 1 and 100. Higher or Lower can be played every minute.

Poker is a game where you place bets depending on the cards in your hand. The game that is played here is Texas Hold 'em.

The blinds
Before the game begins there are some mandatory bets that must be placed: the blinds. With Texas Hold 'em, a button is used (the dealer button) to show which player is currently dealing the cards. Before the cards can be dealt, the players to the left of the dealer button have to place their small and big blind (2x the small blind). After that, each player is dealt 2 cards face down.

Betting options
The options a player has are: "fold", "check", "bet", "call" and "raise". Not all options are available in every round, it depends on the actions of players whose turn already passed. One option that is always available is "fold", the player discards his/her hand and stops play until the round ends. If no player has bet yet, a player can "check" (no bet but continue playing), or "bet" themselves. If a player has placed a bet, the players after him/her can "call", "raise" or "fold". If a player calls, it means he/she plays on and matches the bet placed previously by another player. If you raise, it means you not only call the bet, but also raise it with a bet of your own.

Pre Flop
If all players have received their cards, they have the opportunity to "call" or "raise" the big blind. They can also choose to "fold". The player next to the big blind must act first. If he/she calls, he/she has to match the big blind. This pre flop process continues until all active  players have bet the same amount.

The Flop
The Flop means 3 cards are laid face up on the table. These cards can be used by all players that are still playing the round. The first one allowed to act is the player to the left of the dealer button. The options players have are the same as for the Pre Flop. However, if no one has placed a bet yet, you have the option to "check".

The Turn
When all active players have bet the same amount in The Flop round, The Turn card is laid face up on the table. This is the 4th card available to all players still active. After The Turn card, another round of betting takes place in the same way as during The Flop round.

The River
When all active players have bet the same amount in The Turn round, the fifth and final card is laid out on the table. In the same way as before: the player to the left of the dealer button starts the betting round.

Showdown
When all active players have bet the same amount in The River round, all of the cards are revealed. Using a maximum of 5 cards, the player who makes the best hand, wins.

Poker combinations
In poker, the following combinations are possible, arranged from highest to lowest in value, but from lowest to highest in probability.

If more that one player is going for the Pot after the final betting round is finished, the hands are revealed (showdown). To win the Pot, the players must show their whole hand, even if part of the hand is sufficient to claim the win.

If 2 (or more) players have made the same combination, the player with the highest cards wins according to the following rules:

• If 2 (or more) players only have a High card (no combination), the highest card wins. If this High card is the same for both (or more) players, then the second highest card counts.
• If both (or more) players have One pair, the highest pair wins. If they are even, then the rest of the cards are judged according to the High card rules above .
• If both (or more) players have Two pair, the highest pair wins. If that's even, the highest second pair wins. If this is also even, then the highest fifth card wins.
• If both (or more) players have Three of a kind or Full House, the highest trio wins. If that's even, the highest pair (only for Full House), or the highest fourth/fifth card wins.
• If both (or more) players have a Flush or Straight, the highest card wins. If this card is even, the second card wins etc. Exception: The Ace in a 5 4 3 2 Ace Straight is counted as the lowest card, so loses against a 6 5 4 3 2 Straight.
• If both (or more) players have a Four of a kind, the highest quartet wins. If that is even, the fifth card wins.

In general, this rule stands: the best hand of 5 cards wins the Pot.

The Exchange Office is were players can use credits to give there character a boost. You can also choose to spend your credits on VIP Status. VIP's are supporters of the game through donations or activness. VIP characters have advantages over normal players there are:

	A gold star is displayed next to your name
	You can make purchases straight from your bank account (no more muggings)
	You can train your boxing skill and challenge players to a boxing match aswell as use the Gym
	You can start your own crime family
	You will spend less time in prison
	You can fly every 15 minutes instead of 30 minutes
	You can spin the Wheel Of Fortune every 60 minutes
	You can produce and sell drugs
	You can vist the Red Light District in Holland
	You can play poker with other players for cash or credits

Credits can be obtained through many different ways throughtout the game. You can win them or be rewarded with them. Here is a list of ways to obtain credits to spend in the Exchange Office:

By attacking others you can earn extra cash. After a successful attack you get a percentage of the players onhand cash. Your opponent will also lose health. There is, however, a maximum on the number of attacks you can launch. Per 24 hours, you can commit 30 attacks on your fellow players, and 5 attacks on the same person.

The more bullets you fire, the higher your chances of success are. The opponent will also lose more health this way. There is no 100% guarantee that you will win. One thing is for sure though, the higher your strength, rank and marksmanship are, the more chance you have of winning .

There are also drawbacks to an attack. Launching an attack will cost you some strength. Therefore, choose your victims carefully. If you lose an attack that you launched, you will lose health.

Sometimes you will not be able to attack someone. This can be caused by the following things:
- You are protected
- Your victim is protected
- Your victim is on vacation
- You have reached your attack limit (30 total attacks or 5 attacks on the same player)
- You have murdered someone in the last 4 hours, and therefore have to wait before hitting again
- You are at work

If the health of your victim falls to 0, that means you killed him/her. Of course, this works both ways. If the murdered player had an active auction running, the auction will be terminated and the money returned to the highest bidder.

If you die you will lose all money including onhand and your bank account (50% goes to your husband/wife in case you were married, the rest is for the murderer) You will lose all assests in your possession (casinos etc)

Tip: Store your money in the safe. Even in the event of your death, the money is always there. Credits and VIP-membership, won't be lost in case you get murdered, so they remain in your possession unless you do a free full reset.

While you are dead it's not possible to continue normal active play. You can only log off, buy credits, or revive yourself in the exchange office. You can also choose to restart your game for free by using a full reset, but in that case you will lose everything and have to start over from scratch. Once you've bought a revival you can resume playing.

If you know you are going to be away for a period of time then you can select vacation mode from the settings menu. Here you can select how long you are going for and leave your account until you return. When in vacation mode you cannot be attacked or murdered. Please be aware that once vacation mode is selected you will not be able to gain access to your account until the time has expired. Under no circumstances will vacation mode be lifted on your account this to prevent abuse of the feature.

As a worldwide criminal you own a garage in every country, each garage can hold 3 cars. As your rank increases you will gain 1 additional space. You can purchase extra garage space in the exchange office. visiting your garage will give you a overview of how many cars you have in each country and also display the cars that you have in your current location.

You can sell cars to the dealer for a reduced price or you can sell to other players on the market. Cars are needed for crimes and racing and the better the car the better the chance of success and increased payout. There is always a demand for rare and expensive cars. be careful though other players might want to steal your collection.

If you think you can handle it there is alot of money to be made in the racing minigame you will given a track and 20 seconds to complete the course, this does take some getting used to and alot of skill is involved but if you can master it you are on the road to riches.

Joining a family offers protection, it shows players that friends have got your back and will retaliate if you are attacked or killed. A crime family is run by a don, if the don dies the family is gone, so you  can gurantee that members of the family will not sit back while there family is attacked. Running a crime family is not a decsion that should be made lightly however if you think you have what it takes you can create one once you reach the rank of shoplifter and are a VIP.

Aswell as protection a family will help each other and invest in the family which will provide an income for all members. It is not advised for a family to be full of inactive accounts as it will drain resources. If you do not pull your weight in the family expect to be kicked out of even killed. It is a harsh world out there where money is power and power comes at a price.

A don is in complete control of his/her  family he can decide which members have which priveldges and decide who is best and performing the various tasks within the family. It is advisable only to have people you trust in the higher postions within a family.

A family has various aspects depending on the dons decsion as to what to invest in, a family can invest in money presses and land which will provide income for all members. A don can  also set a entrance and exit fee as will as a tax rate on all members earnings.

One advantage of being within a strong family is the ability to perform attacks directly on another family. To do this the family will need ammunition and at least 3 active players online to take part in the attack. Once a family attack is entiated the combined strength of all members who take part will be used to attack a rival family. The result being you will steal some money from the family and possibly even some land, aswell as taking health from the other family. Be prepared though this is seen as act of war and should only be used as a last resort in negotiations. War is expensive and drains the family resources considerably and usually it will only end when one family is destroyed.

Higher positions within the family will (with the trust of the don) have access to the family shop, here they can spend the family money on money presses, land, ammo, club houses or a conference room. Money presses and land will bring in money for the family, ammo is used in family attacks, club houses allow the family to expand and take in more members and a conference room can be hired to act as a family chat room. A family wheel of fortune can also be spun which works the same way as the wheel of fortune but can only be spun once every 24 hours however all members of the family will benefit from the reward.

Famllies need money to operate all of the top crime famillies have a substantial amount invested to provide income for all members. Aswell as a tax rate set by the don, members can donate cash to the family or commit family crimes to put money straight into the family bank. A money press will produce that little bit extra income however you will need to save up the costly £4,000,000 to buy 1, and money presses breakdown as they get older (30 days)

Land is cheap and can be bought easily and more often (until all the land is gone anyway). This stops to much money been left in the family at the mercy of family attacks. However land can be stolen in family attacks so you could see your investment taken from you. Land is the sole factor of how a family is ranked on the statistics page so it shows how powerful your family is compared to others. Presses provide more income however the money is given out hourly to all members (50% to there cash and 50% to there bank account) This can build up to a significant amount over a few hours to warrant an attack from a mugger. Land only produces cash daily however 100% is deposited into members bank accounts so it couldnt be taken unless you were killed.

Which ever path you choose there are many different ways to run a  family and many different ways to be considered successful. Pick your family to relate to your own game style and be prepared to commit to that family for what is more likely to be for life.

You can purchases a home in Germany from the shop, There is a house for every made mans budget. Your rank will determine which houses you can own and the ones you cant. Houses offer protection, Health regeneration and a daily income. As you head up the property ladder with your success you can even have a safe place to secure your cars.

You can choose to allow players to see your property on your profile. This is set to NO by default but can be changed under settings. You can sell your house for 80% of its value.
